Peripheral Vision Draw Check Indicator
In some of the manuals, in which it is mentioned, you can read about the Visual Draw
Check Indicator (mirror device) and see a very contradictory interpretation of its usage.
Its usage is described as a process in which the archer should, at the same time, aim at the target and look into the mirror device.
It is, of course, a problematic interpretation; everyone knows that it is impossible to look
at two different points at the same time. It's pointless if you're not just looking through the sight while aiming at the target.
The proper use of Visual Draw Check Indicator implies that while shooting you are looking ONLY in the direction of the target through the sight… and nowhere else! Draw length indication, with the help of the mirror device, should be achieved only by PERIPHERAL VISION.
The flash of the arrow tip, which is emitted towards the eye by the mirror when a certain
draw is achieved, is more than enough for the detection of the light signal by peripheral vision.
It is important to note that in order to use the flicker correctly, it is recommended that the archer first master the correct shooting technique using the clicker. Of course, good results are possible to achieve only by using proper technique, regardless of the model of equipment you use.
